German based designer Leon Emanuel Blanck ignores regular pattern methods in favor of his own developed technique called „ Anfracutous Distortion”. Each design is directly created on a moving body using larger pieces of fabric. Seams, widths and fit are solely designed by the interaction of the human body with the forming fabric. This results in atypical silhouettes that showcase very exceptional and highly complicated patterns. Every pattern for each size is handcrafted and takes up to 70 hours. Due to the unconventional methods Blanck uses, all garments are produced by him and his team in-house.
