Haider Ackermann is a Colombian-born French designer of ready-to-wear fashion. Ackermann studied fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. In 2001 Ackermann presented his first women’s wear collection durgin Paris fashion week and founded his eponymous label in 2003. Ackermann launched his first full menswear collection in 2013. Influenced by cultural differences, Ackermann’s fashion contrasts and blends dress codes. His work features feminine and sophisticated silhouettes sewn of different materials to create a modern and refindes type of clothing.
